Travis Scott is under heat for the stampede that occurred at the 2021 Astroworls Festival. The festival that was held in Texas took a wrong turn when panic ensured resulting in the death of ten casualties and a thousand injured.

In response to the incident, a  grand jury set up in Texas is meeting today to determine if the rapper is responsible for the accident and is subject to the criminal charges leveled against him. His attorney, Kent Schaffer, is still determining the outcome of the meeting today.

Likewise, he is most unsure of the verdict being passed today by the jury. Meanwhile, there has been no comment by the DA’s office in Harris County concerning the matter.

His lawyer, however, is confident that Travis won’t be charged for the unfortunate incident that led to ten people’s death due to compressive asphyxiation. He says, “Nothing Travis did or failed to do fits within the Texas criminal code.”

Travis Scott’s prosecutors blame him and the organizers of the festival for admitting too many people into the venue. They argue that the organizers overcrowded the venue which resulted in the stampede that left thousands injured and ten dead. The family of the bereaved is charging for  “criminal and civil accountability”.
