The 21st-anniversary edition of Splendour In The Grass, Australia’s top mid-year music festival, has announced its lineup including popular artists like Lewis Capaldi, Lizzo, J Balvin, Mumford & Sons, Flume, Slowthai, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sam Fender, Idles, and many more.

Australia’s leading mid-year festival is making a grand return this year after a two-year pandemic hiatus. Organized by Secret Sounds, part of Live Nation, the 21st-anniversary edition of the festival is expected to provide a sense of normalcy to the attendees. The festival will be held from July 21-23 at Ngarindjin/North Byron Parklands, which is also the festival’s original home.

The 2021 edition was wiped out due to the pandemic, so they made a shift to the virtual world. With the help of American digital entertainment developer Linden Lab, the organizers launched Splendour XR, a two-day virtual music festival that featured over 50 artists’ performances.

Although it didn’t seem to replicate the main event (Splendour in the Grass), it served as a distraction to the ongoing pandemic at the time.

Since its establishment in 2021 at Byron Bay, Splendour in the Grass has become a staple event in the Australian music scene. It is a midwinter camping festival that draws both international and local performers to showcase their talents live for the first time.

With tickets priced at A$447.51 (inclusive of booking fees) for the three-day event and an additional A$197.27 for camping, Splendour in the Grass offers a unique and immersive experience for music lovers.

Splendour in the Grass continues to evolve and adapt to provide the ultimate music experience for its loyal fanbase.
