Papoose And Remy Ma Celebrate 15 Years of Tying The Knot

Over the weekend, Papoose and Remy Ma  celebrated their 15-year anniversary. Papoose took to his social media handle to write a heartfelt message to his wife. 

He wrote, “Happy ‘FIFTEENTH YEAR’ wedding anniversary to my beautiful, smart, wife. Wow, We’ve laughed together, cried together, lost together, won together. Through it all we stayed ‘TOGETHER.’ Togetherness/unity is powerful! She’s the best wife a man could ask for. Make sure y’all wish her well. God is the greatest!! #15 #blacklove.”

He also shared loved-up pictures of himself and his wife as they celebrated the occasion. 

Papoose, whose real name is Shamele Mackie, first met Remy Ma, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, in 2005. 

At the time, Remy Ma was already an established rapper, while Papoose was still making a name for himself in the industry. Despite their different levels of success, the two fell in love and started dating.

Four years later, they tied the knot while Remy was incarcerated for offenses such as assault,  possession of illegal weapons, and attempted coercion. 

While she served her term, Papoose remained ever-supportive by keeping her music alive. He released new music in her name and also made public appearances on her behalf. 

After her release,  they had a televised wedding, and later in 2018, they had their first child together: Reminisce Mackenzie.

As a power couple in the Music Industry,  they have collaborated on songs and supported each other’s solo projects. 

Papoose and Remy’s union is evidence of the power of love,  determination, and commitment. Through thick and thin they have remained supportive and devoted to each other. Their love story is a beautiful example of what true love and dedication can achieve.
