Lil Nas X Says ‘F— BET’ in New Song and Work with Kid Cudi; ‘Company’

Is everyone hating the BET Awards? Very simple, Lil Nas x is one of the new haters of the award company and he is doing something just to show concern on he doesn’t care about BET Awards 2022. Lil Nas x BET Awards, no he was snubbed and he comes back to tackle.

Montero is an upcoming album from Nas x. He revealed the tracklist of course began to preview more songs. Looks like the Montero rapper related issue he will like to address via a new album.

On his newly previewed track which he titled “Late to Da Party, ” he shoots his shots towards BET for snubbing him and also out ‘homophobia in the black community,’ which black had responded to him.

Lil Nas x was in his car, he was seriously busy making sure to blast BET. He played Late To Day Party but before he played the song he shouted “Fuck BET, fuck BET” and then tease the song publicly. He said that he doesn’t need any one to validate his success.

He also backtracked that the song was not “over no BET award… this is about the bigger problem of homophobia in the Black community… y’all can sit and pretend all u want but imma risk it all for us.”

“This is my point exactly,” he wrote. “How can i get acknowledged by the most acclaimed award show in the world and then not even just 1 nomination from my own people? Is that not crazy? Am i really tripping. … ‘Industry Baby’ is the 2nd longest running #1 song on the Billboard rap charts of all time and didn’t get a single nomination.”

This is not the first time Lil Nas x is talking about BET since this year. Same this year, just last week he called out BET for not including him in this year’s nominations.

“Thank you BET awards. an outstanding zero nominations again. Black excellence!.”

“I just feel like Black gay ppl have to fight to be seen in this world and even when we make it to the top mfs try to pretend we are invisible,” he added on Twitter.

BET Responds To Lil Nas X

“We love Lil Nas X. He was nominated for a best new artist BET Award in 2020 and we proudly showcased his extraordinary talent and creativity on the show twice,” BET’s statement reads. “Unfortunately, this year, he was not nominated by BET’s Voting Academy, which is comprised of an esteemed group of nearly 500 entertainment professionals in the fields of music, television, film, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, influencers and creative arts.”

“No one from BET serves as a member of the Voting Academy. At BET, we are passionate advocates for the wonderful diversity that exists within our community,” the statement continues. “We are committed to using all of our platforms to provide visibility and inclusion for all of the many intersections of the Black community.”

Lil Nas X BET Awards was declined and the rapper is not happy about but BET has responded to him as you can see above.

Lil Nas X’s upcoming album Montero is almost featuring white artists but finally, get hold of Kid Cudi. Fans criticized him after he shared the tracklist with a lot of white artists packed in.

However, Lil Nas did share his reason by saying “Maybe they don’t want to work with me.” And that was how Kid Cudi hopped in and say I will work with you and they accepted.
