Jack Harlow Wins Award As SESAC Songwriter For The Third Time
Jack Harlow wins award as he achieved an extraordinary feat. He did this by securing the Songwriter of the SESAC Music Awards for the third year in a row.
The SESAC Music Awards, held at The Highlight Room in Los Angeles, celebrate the achievements of songwriting. It also gives accolades to publishing members within the performing rights organization.
However, Jack Harlow wins award, emerging as the top honoree. He previously claimed this title in both 2021 and 2022. Additionally, he earned Song of the Year for his chart-topping hit “First Class.”
Harlow’s list of accolades extended further, as he received two SESAC Performance Awards. Each was for “Nail Tech” and his collaboration with Drake, “Churchill Downs.”
Sony Music Publishing also continued in its winning streak. It did this by securing the Publisher of the Year award for the second consecutive year.
Furthermore, the publishing giant also received recognition for songs like Kendrick Lamar‘s “Count Me Out,” Nicki Minaj and Fivio Foreign’s “We Go Up”. It also includes Steve Lacy’s “Mercury,” and, of course, Jack Harlow‘s “First Class”.
Sam Kling, CCO of SESAC Performing Rights, expressed his pride in celebrating the achievements of songwriters and publishers across various genres.
While SESAC remains dedicated to honoring its affiliates who consistently produce chart-topping hits.
Notable figures within the music industry also received performance awards, including Bryan Michael Cox for his work on Ari Lennox’s “Pressure” and several others recognized for their contributions to artists like The Weeknd, Gunna, Young Thug, Drake, Sam Smith, Kim Petras, Steve Lacy, Megan Thee Stallion, Kendrick Lamar, Joji, and more.
