Cardi B claims she was forced to remove all of her clothing during an incident at her house earlier this month, and as a result, she intends to sue the LAPD.

In an Instagram Live broadcast on Monday, March 25, she recounted the terrifying experience, claiming that law enforcement officials had mistaken her identity for a narcotics dealer.

She remarked, “They had every helicopter in Los Angeles.” Hey, I was really nervous. I was outside for approximately three hours. I was becoming butt naked outside thanks to them. It was absurd. You already know that the movie was badass, whatever that means.

The LAPD is going to get sued by me. I introduced myself to them as Cardi B. Do I appear as though I need to sell something? So why would I act in that way? I would never act in such a manner.

“They didn’t believe me,” Cardi B said. The white police officers didn’t know who I was. They were quite harsh with me regarding everything. They said they received a clue from someone. I felt like they were actually trying to ruin my life, like it was one of my opportunities and shit. As though none of you even know. I’ve recently been through a lot.

Then, abruptly altering her tone, she laughed and stated, “No seriously,” before expressing gratitude to her followers for their support of her new song.

“Enough (Miami),” Cardi B’s most recent track, was released earlier this month. The Bronx rapper revealed in an Instagram Live video that the song was first known by a different moniker and that it was inspired by people pursuing her.
