Usher, was in an interview at Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp in the UK, where he spoke about his connection with Beyoncé.

He stated that his connection with Beyoncé dates back to when she was a budding pre-teen star, in a group called The Dolls.

In the interview, he explained that a studio session had kept him in the same room with Beyoncé and he was assigned with the task of being the group’s babysitter.

“Fun fact, I knew Beyoncé when she was about 11-12 years old. She used to be in a group by the name of The Dolls.

I don’t know if I could consider myself their babysitter, but I had a time where I had to watch The Dolls.

We were all at Daryl Simmons’ house, when he was working with them at the time. And I just happened to be over there and they were working on a session.

Some how, I found my way into being their like, I don’t know, chaperone, nanny, or something like that — the oldest person in the room”. Said Usher.

Over the years, they both have combined 40 Grammy Awards and numerous multi-platinum plaques.

Also, in 2008, they teamed up on “Love In This Club II”, which was a sequel to his Jeezy assisted hit together with Lil Wayne.

Although, Beyoncé is still making history with her Renaissance World Tour. It recently became the highest grossing trek of all time by a Black Musician.

Her international roadshow is said to have generated $296 million fromm 33 shows, with 23 still left on the schedule.

More to this, she broke the all time records for the highest grossing concert by a female artist.

Due to her Black act performance at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on July 29 and 30, she pulled in $16.541 million from each of those nights.

Which amounts to a total of $33 million. She has also generated a huge sum of $1.3 billion, from the sale of 11.2 million tickets.
