Nicki Minaj Shows Hilarious Reaction to Fan Botching Mic Tradeoff
Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Tour stopped in Atlanta, and a fan learned the hard way that audience participation isn’t always easy.
Minaj played a significantly changed rendition of “The Night Is Still Young” at her Georgia event on Wednesday (March 20). At one point, she even handed the microphone to a fan near the stage in the hopes of obtaining some chorus support, but the chosen one couldn’t keep up.
The fan later tweeted about the meeting, writing, “Nicki handed me her fucking MICCCC LIKE OMFG.”

This caused the East Coast MC to tweet a quote along with an annoyed face emoji.
In a follow-up tweet, Nicki wrote: “They’re so lucky I can’t sing either chi [eyeroll emoji] I’d take the mic and really show them something.”

The Queens rapper cancelled her concert at the Smoothie King Center earlier this week due to sickness, leaving many dissatisfied by the last-minute change.
The next day, expressed her “sincere apologies” and declared that she didn’t want to deliver anything less than “100 percent” on stage on her social media.
“New Orleans, please accept my sincerest apologies for having to reschedule our date together, You mean so much to me, and I’m sorry things didn’t turn out as intended. Nicki added.
