After losing a man he refers to as his “brother,” Westside Gunn has suffered yet another devastating loss, but his fellow hip-hop artists are supporting him.

The Griselda rapper honoured close friend Infinite, also known as Big Dump, on Instagram on Sunday, April 7, in the wake of his passing over the weekend.

He added, “Y’all really just took my brother away from Me,” and included pictures of the two of them. “Even though I’m not with you every day, you still check on me—I talk to you EVERY DAY! my twin, my guardian, and my big brother!!!!!!

“We were upset with you yesterday because you didn’t travel to Philadelphia with me for Mania, and we left Mania to have a [FaceTime] with you outside under a fuckin sheet.”

Westside Gunn went on, “I don’t even go out without you; this is getting too soon, but I don’t know what to do; we are the strongest matter of fact, and I know that you don’t want me to do anything but be the best; just keep watching over me and do what you always did.” the #GXFR LOVE U STREET LEGEND @inf_escobar.

“Losing Big Al, Chanelle, and now my brother in a few years left me numb, but despite everything, I can’t help but smile because, despite my knowledge that they didn’t believe in me, they trusted in God, and God is the greatest. May God bless the family!

Many of Westside Gunn’s fellow rappers poured support and sympathy into the comments area.

“Prayers and love and strength always my brother,” wrote Skyzoo, and “Prayers up,” added Doe Boy.
