When it comes to his feud with adidas for ‘fake’ Yeezy trainers, Travis Scott has sworn loyalty to Kanye West.

A fan asked La Flame to autograph a pair of his Yeezy shoes during his presentation at the University of Texas on Thursday, April 4, to promote his new college-themed clothing line with Mitchel & Ness.

When the former G.O.O.D. Music affiliate saw the sneakers weren’t from Kanye’s series of releases with adidas, he turned down the fan’s request, saying, “We not signing no Yeezys unless they made by Ye.”

Since his lucrative Yeezy deal with adidas was cancelled due to his antisemitic sentiments, Kanye West has been open about his issues with the company.

More than a year after their breakup, Ye accused the sportswear giant of creating “fake” Yeezy shoes and advised fans not to purchase them in a usually candid Instagram post in February.

In his message, he said, “Let me explain really clear to you guys what’s happening with adidas.” “They are not only releasing unapproved false colorways, but they are also suing me for $250,000,000 and refusing to pay me for the shoes they are releasing with my name on them.

“They’re raping one of your favourite artists in front of you, in broad daylight, using contract clauses and fifty years of business experience.”
