RIP Lil Marlo: Quality control rapper shot dead in Atlanta
Sadly, we’ve lost another rapper in 2020. Quality control rapper, Lil Marlo was shot dead while he was in his vehicle over the weekend. After the the shot sense, the police officers confirmed the 30 yr old rapper dead at the spot.
According to TMZ, Marlo was the main target of the gunfire. “At this time, investigators believe the victim was the intended target of the gunfire and they are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting,”the told the police officers.
The quality control rapper is known for records like,“2 Hard the Way” with Lil Baby and “9 + Z6ne = 1’5.” His album, 1st & 3rd, was released in February featuring the title track with Future and Lil Baby. He was also featured on Quality Control compilation Control the Streets, Vol. 2.
Artsit has expressed their sympathy for the lost of an artist in the industry. JT of the City Girls, who collaborated with Marlo on “Soakin Wet,” also mourned the loss. “Rest In Peace Marlo……damn,” she wrote, while Meek Mill added, “Rip lil Marlo prayers to his family!”. Lil yatchy took IG to show condolences and also said the just recorded a song few days ago before the sad news.
