Kanye West Allegedly canceled a meeting with Diddy at Rolling Loud.
Diddy wanted to connect with Kanye West at Rolling Loud, but the rapper reportedly had no interest in meeting with him.
A TMZ report from Thursday, March 28 claims that the founder of Bad Boy and his group camped out backstage at the festival to see Ye and Ty Dolla $ign. They also told Yeezy’s team that Diddy was hoping to meet up with them after Ye and Ty Dolla $ign‘s performance.
According to the story, West wasn’t interested in collaborating with Diddy or, at the absolute least, wasn’t willing to make the extra effort to meet with him.
It’s unclear why Diddy would want to meet with Kanye considering that the “CARNIVAL” rapper and the “I’ll Be Missing You” MC were at odds just two years ago.
After getting into a furious argument over Ye’s “White Lives Matter” t-shirt controversy, the two decided to air their grievances.
The rapper, who was born in Chicago, made it plain on Instagram that he wouldn’t let his peer to prevent him from doing what he needed to by sharing a series of photos with fans that showed the talk he was having with Diddy.
Although he disagreed with Kanye’s choice to wear a “White Lives Matter” t-shirt, the head of Bad Boy Records told The Breakfast Club that he wouldn’t condemn him either. After learning of the remarks, Kanye spoke with Diddy early on Friday morning.
Kanye wrote, “I didn’t enjoy our conversation.” “I’m making these t-shirts, and nobody messes with me or takes my money.” My granddad is texting you right now. Please don’t call me with that kind of garbage until you’re ready to give me the go-ahead. Since I am the only person who got that t-shirt.
Ye said that he would be as silent as his buddy and late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, but he also acknowledged that he was aware of the harm his threats had caused to the people he cared about. Then he invited Puff to face him.
