Dr. Dre made a joke about Stevie Wonder blindness after getting to know the legendary musician.

At an unusual Instagram post, Dre shared a photo of the two of them together at what appears to be a hotel or restaurant.

“Just ran into my hero and every musician’s favourite, Stevie Wonder,” he said as the post’s caption. Stevie remarked, “It’s nice to see you.”

Flavour Flav commented on social media, saying, “[crying face emojis] he always say the same to me, that’s my guy,” when the joke went viral.

Additionally, 2 Chainz tweeted, “Haha man hell naw Killa.”

Recently, Wonder’s longtime partner Marsha Ambrosius made a joke about Wonder not actually being blind.

The singer stated, “Stevie Wonder, the stories he can tell with his tone, before lyrics even come into it and claims he can’t see,” during an appearance on Tank and J. Valentine’s R&B Money podcast. It’s okay, we know you can see.

Dr. Dre has previously stated that, despite his admiration for the musician, he declined the opportunity to collaborate with the “Superstition” legend.

Speaking with Kevin Hart for his Hart to Heart show, Dre revealed that Wonder’s sample clearance brought them together.

Thus, I’m collaborating with Marsha Ambrosius on an album. He remarked, “She’s amazing.” “Stevie Wonder had to give his permission for us to use his music on a song we made. And he called me, saying, “Hey, Dre”—for some reason, Stevie Wonder calls you at six or seven in the morning, or earlier. Simply because you are unable to see the time.
