Drake is a “better rapper,” than Kendrick Lamar according to Lupe Fiasco
Amidst the recent rap feuds, Lupe Fiasco declared boldly that Drake is a “better rapper” than Kendrick Lamar.
The Chicago native acknowledged he hasn’t heard Kendrick’s diss verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” during their Monday, April 15, X Spaces interview with Aye Verb. However, he has listened to and appreciated Drizzy’s comeback single, “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me 50).”
Lupe Fiasco without hesitation, “Drake,” in response to the question of which rapper is superior.
Lupe Fiasco then said, “Not really,” in response to Verb’s question on whether he believes the 6 God to be a better rapper “by a long shot.” I’d give it to Drake since he got bars.
“I don’t think Kendrick is a better rapper, but I think he’s a better technically skilled performer,” he continued.
When it comes to slicing opponents apart with his lyrics, the Food & Liquor MC further stated that he doesn’t think K. Dot is a “dangerous” rapper.

Lupe Fiasco provided a more thorough assessment of Kendrick Lamar elsewhere at the X Spaces, stating: “I think he’s a great performer.” I believe he is an excellent rapper. I believe his albums are excellent. He’s a fantastic conceptualist, in my opinion. I think his intelligence is quite sharp. I find his contributions to culture to be quite remarkable. I will always love him. However, I don’t think he’s a particularly talented lyricist.
“And if I were to compile a list of the top 100… The first sixty spots would be reserved for n-ggas who aren’t even aware of the mainstream. It’s not going to be amazing with record deals. There will be a ton of fight rap and n-ggas. Regarding the lyrics.
Additionally, he mentioned that he has only “like once” met Kendrick and does not know him personally.
The rapper from “Kick, Push” also took issue with J. Cole’s “7 Minute Drill” diss song directed at Kendrick, pointing out that Cole tried to minimize his body of work.
