As two of the biggest stars in music today. The news of Drake and SZA dating drama has been put aside as they’re joining their musical talents which has left their respective fanbases eagerly anticipating. The song is likely to be released at midnight on Friday, September 15.

Fans expressed their excitement on social media, with one commenting on Drake’s post, saying…

“The moment has come omg,” while a follower of SZA’s exclaimed, “Omfg!!! You and Audrey doing a collab???”

While this marks their first official musical collaboration. Drake and SZA are not strangers to one another. In October 2020, Drake stirred up headlines when he claimed to have dated the New Jersey native back in 2009.

“Yeah, said she wanna f*ck to some SZA, wait… ‘Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08 If you cool with it, baby, she can still play,” he rapped on 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s “Savage Mode 2” track “Mr. Right Now.”

SZA initially responded by unfollowing Drake on Instagram but later confirmed that they did have a brief fling. She clarified the timeline, as she tweeted…

“So it was actually 2009 lol,” and stated, “I just didn’t want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening. Completely innocent. Lifetimes ago.”

In December 2022, SZA revealed that Drake had given her a heads up about his lyrics ahead of time. And they have “always been cool.”

Their relationship resurfaced in headlines. This was after Drake was rumored to have been one of several artists who passed on appearing on SZA’s album “SOS.” Despite that, he praised the album as “incredible.”

As we anticipate their musical collaboration. For All the Dogs is set to drop on September 22. It would be featuring Nicki Minaj and possibly other surprises from Yeat and Bad Bunny.
