DJ Premier ‘Hip-Hop 50 Vol. 1’ EP Feat. Nas, Lil Wayne and More

The last time we updated about DJ Premier was last week when there was swirling about his joint album with Nas. However, looks like the rumour didn’t catch up with the exact studio session. That wasn’t actually a joint album but a collaboration from DJ Premier featuring Nas on a new EP titled Hip Hop 50 Vol 1.

Nas’s most recent release was Wave Gods which featured both Hit-Boy and A$AP Rocky.

Premo’s new EP Hip Hop 50 Vol 1 is released in conjunction with Mass Appeal as part of Hip Hop 50: The Soundtrack series and has some big guests on it. Nas, Lil Wayne, Run The Jewels, Slick Rick, Remy Ma, Rapsody and Joey Bada$$ appear across the five tracks. Stream it below.

A series of 10 EPs of all newly released music will bring together the industry’s most highly regarded producers and artists. Other producers involved in the series include Swizz Beatz, Mustard, The-Dream, Mike Will Made It, No I.D., Hit-Boy, Take A Daytrip and Tainy.

The last track on this album featured Lil Wayne. The Root Of All has been updated on Lil Wayne 2022 featured songs. Lil Wayne now has about 7 featured songs so this year which you can also check out.

DJ Premier featuring Lil Wayne on “The Root Of All” has maintained weezy as one of the most featured rappers so this year. 21 Savage, Lil Durk, and Lil Baby are currently topping the list.

Nas and Hit-Boy have been working for about 10 years in a corporation with each other. Fans want a joint album from Dj Premier and Nas. The time DJ Premier previewed a track in the studio, some folks thought of Joint a joint album with Nas will soon happen.

We still there might be something like that in the future.
