DJ Envy confronted Tyrese recently regarding comments the actor had made towards his wife. Tyrese, known for his role in the Fast & Furious franchise, addressed Envy and Charlamagne The God during their appearance on The Breakfast Club on September 7. This discussion reopened old wounds and questions about their friendship.

Despite Tyrese’s public struggles with divorce and mental health, he expressed disappointment at not receiving support from someone he considered a friend, DJ Envy. Tyrese had previously been there for Envy during his own marital issues.

Envy admitted to feeling disrespected by Tyrese’s private comments during this difficult period and even blocked him on their chat. He explained, “I didn’t want to see Tyrese as that. That wasn’t the man that was my brother.”

Tyrese, however, claimed that he couldn’t recall his actions due to being on medication at the time and questioned whether Envy should hold him accountable for his actions while under the influence.

However, DJ Envy confronted Tyrese as he emphasized on his desire to remember him differently as a brother who helped his relationship, rather than one who was struggling. He also made mention of how Tyrese had previously disrespected his wife through messages, which led to him taking a decision to distance himself from the actor.

Despite not offering any form of apology, Tyrese attributed his actions to his mental health struggles, as he expressed and hope that those he had hurt would extend him more grace and a second chance.

In recent times, Tyrese has been open about his mental health and the adverse effects of medication on his behavior, including making false claims and announcements.

This confrontation between DJ Envy and Tyrese sheds light on the various complexities of friendships, personal struggles, and the important need for love, understanding and forgiveness in difficult times.
