In the last year 2021, Megan Thee Stallion was named the Best Female Hip Hop artist 2021. Among the six listed female rappers Cardi B, Coi Leray, Doja Cat, Lotto, Megan Thee Stallion and Saweetie, The Plan B rapper beat all of them and went home as best female rapper.
However, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Doja Cat, Coi Leray, Lotto and others weren’t able to take over the award from Megan Thee Stallion who took the same award home in 2021. The 22nd annual BET Awards which happened at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday Night 26th June also named Kendrick Lamar above his fellow male rappers.

Kendrick Lamar’s return to the music spotlight with Mr Morale & The Big Steppers album also boosted his chances of winning the Award which he finally won. That was an album he has released this year since her last album DAMN in April 2017. He is well welcomed and has began to dominant.
As for Megan Thee Stallion, She working on her new album which has already few songs ahead. Her last song was Plan B which she also shared the official music video below.
“Actually, I’m probably like 95% done with my new album. I want to tease that for the Hotties. I haven’t told them nothing about my album,” stated Megan. This also means Megan Thee Stallion new album will definitely drop this year in no distance time.
