4Batz stated in the description that the song will be available this Friday, March 8.

With his mesmerizing single, which has had over 76 million Spotify plays and even cracked the Billboard Hot 100, the Dallas-born R&B artist has been making waves in recent months.

Drake remixing “act ii: date @ 8” was first suggested by Timbaland back in January.

“Whoa, who’s this kid? Four Batz. In an Instagram video, after hearing the song for the first time, he exclaimed, “Dallas, y’all got one.” “Consider yourself lucky with this one. He has such a strange tone.

“I’m telling you now, The Boy get on this, it’s outta here. It’s already outta here. This thing right here. And y’all know who The Boy is.”

Drake even liked an Instagram post regarding a possible partnership between them, indicating that he understood Timbo’s recommendation.

Later, the Toronto rapper met 4Batz in person, and during a show in February, the two were spotted chatting.

The singer’s last two official releases, “act i: stickerz ’99′” and “act iii: on god? (she like),” were issued last week. “Act ii: date @ 8” is only the singer’s third official release.
