Rapsody just revealed the release of the music video for her second single, “Stand Tall,” from her much anticipated album Please Don’t Cry.

The North Carolina MC shows off her lyrical skills while interviewing close friend and actress Sanaa Lathan. She discusses her honest feelings about honor, rumors, and sincerity.

The sequel to last year’s “Asteroids,” which featured Hit-Boy, is called “Stand Tall.” After 2019’s Eve, Rapsody’s fourth studio album will be called Please Don’t Cry. Erykah Badu, Lil Wayne, Phylicia Rashad, Baby Tate, Alex Isley, and more will make cameos on the album, which is set to be released on May 17.
