As reported by Billboard in October. Ye and Ty were actively exploring options with distributors for their joint project.

Also. This collaboration holds particular significance as it marks Ye’s first release since the controversy surrounding his antisemitic comments. And this lead to a distancing from the artist by Def Jam parent company Universal Music Group.

Moreover. The history of collaborations between Ye and Ty Dolla $ign. Adds an extra layer of excitement to this joint album.

Although. The last time they joined forces was on “Junya Pt 2”. Featured on Ye’s 2021 album, Donda.

Prior to that. Their creative synergy was evident in tracks like…

Ty’s “Ego Death” (2020) and Ye’s “Everything We Need” (2019). “Real Friends” (2016), and “Only One” (2014).

While the anticipation builds, Ty Dolla $ign had previously teased a multi-stadium listening event for their joint album in November, drawing parallels to the grand listening events hosted by Ye for Donda in 2021.

However, the event did not materialize, leaving fans eager for a confirmed release date for this highly awaited collaborative masterpiece.
