The Weeknd has released his first album of the year DAWN FM. DAWN FM has been teased since 2021 but finally joined 2022 albums on the commercial streaming platform. As many hope to stream the album last year, it didn’t come into existence. We waited although the assurance was intact and here you are about to listen to The Weeknd’s 2022 album.

DAWN FM tracklist was shared a few days back. That was a cool signal about the album is almost ready to get released on 7th January, yet it made it lit. After joining Post Malone on a song One Right Now which appeared on Amahiphop U.S PMVC Nov, Weeknd is here again with the project he promised. About 16 tracks with some of them featuring traditional hip-hip artists like Lil Wayne who will soon get Amahiphop 2022 compilation. The albums also feature a voice-over from renowned actor (and Abel’s neighbor) Jim Carrey, Quincy Jones, Tyler, The Creator, as well as singer-songwriter Oneohtrix Point Never (aka Daniel Lopatin).

In more note to all fans, this album is not interested in its album sales. The Weeknd doesn’t care about how the sales on billboards. He is only concerned about getting to experience the album together with the fans during these times. He said this on Twitter. The After Hours singer noted this after a fan that the album wouldn’t have physical sales during the first week which would impact sales numbers but The Weeknd explained how it’s all about fans experiencing the album and being positively impacted that means more to him than any accolade.
