DaBaby collaborating with Tory Lanez for their new single ‘SKAT‘ has led to a sour friendship between Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby. And it’s no surprise.

It all started on Saturday when the North Carolina rapper retweeted a tweet from a fan who joked about DaBaby and Tory Lanez both being accused of shooting at some point but not doing jail time. “I guess @DaBabyDaBaby and @torylanez cool now bc the both shot somebody and don’t have to do no jail time,” the tweet read, followed by a laughing emoji.

However, when some fans started to notice the RT, DaBaby claimed there was some sort of an error at Twitter’s end and that he never retweeted anything. “Idk what type of Illuminati shit Twitter got goin on,” he tweeted. “I ain’t retweet nothing but ‘Ball If I Want To’ promo. I ain’t retweet that silly shit. Then once ppl start tagging me & I saw it and tried to delete it and undo the retweet Twitter didn’t let me. Type shit yall on?”

Megan was quick to fire back and dismiss DaBaby’s excuse, saying, “Support me in private and publicly do something different…these industry men are very strange. This situation ain’t no damn “beef” and I really wish people would stop down playing it like it’s some internet shit for likes and retweets.”
