Megan professes that Lanez is lying about The Shooting
Ahead of Tory Lanez sentencing, Megan Thee responded to him. She accused him of lying repeatedly about shooting her, by embarking on a campaign to destroy her character.
Daystar Peterson, otherwise known as Tory Lanez, appeared in court in Los Angeles on Monday, the 7th of August. He came for his sentencing hearing. Which was roughly eight months ago.
During that time, he was convicted of shooting Megan The Stallion in a drunken arguement.
Meghann Cuniff a reporter from Law&Crime, reported that The Houston rapper didn’t attend as she wanted to “preserve her mental wellbeing”.
Although she provided a written statement, which was read out loud by Kathy Ta, a District Attorney.
In the letter, Megan accused Lanez for spreading false stories about the shooting.
She said it left her with bullet fragments on both feets. And due to this, she has’nt experienced a single day of peace after the shooting.
“He not only shot me, he made a mockery of my trauma. He tried to position himself as a victim and set out to destroy my character and my soul.
Also, he lied to anyone that would listen and paid bloggers to disseminate false information about the case on social media.
He released music videos and songs to damage my character and continue his crusade.
At first, he tried to deny the shooting ever happened. Then, he attempted to place the blame on my former best friend.
In his tantrum of lies, he’s blamed the system, blamed the press and, as of late, he’s using his childhood trauma to shield himself and avoid culpability”. She wrote in the letter.

She wants his sentence to be a lesson for every man who violently treats women, citing also his lack of remorse.
“For once, the defendant must be forced to face the full consequences of his heinous actions and face justice”. She wrote.
