Ll cool J Uncovers the Mistery behind Biggie’s diss track titled “Who Shot Ya?”. He stated that he was in the studio with the late American rapper Notorious B.I.G, when he wrote the song.

On a wedneday morning, the 2nd of August, the lengendary rapper ‘Ll cool J’ arrived at Sway, where he got to know about a supposition going on for sometime now.

He was interviewed by Journalist Bonsu Thompson who proposed that a particular line in the lyrics of the song “Old school, new school, need to learn though”  was a direct shot at Ll cool J.

Ll cool J, pointed out that the theory was false, stating that he was physically present in the studio when B.I.G wrote the song. He said in his own words

“No, that’s not true. I’m in the studio when Biggie wrote ‘Who Shot Ya?’. Like, I was literally in the studio when he made the song. I was literally, physically in the studio with Notorious B.I.G. when he wrote ‘Who Shot Ya?’.

I said… ‘Biggie, why you smoke so much weed when you write these joints?’. He said, ‘It makes me feel like I’m in the track’, and we just started laughing.

“He was doing what rappers do: ‘Old school, new School’. He’s saying whoever want it, can get it. That’s regular. Now it’s about selling swag, and that’s okay, I’m not judging but I’m just saying, that’s 100 percent false”. Said Ll cool J.

The track “Who Shot Ya”, released early in 1995 is believed for so long to be targeted at 2Pac who had been hit months back in New York City’s Quad Studios while B.I.G was recording upstairs at the time.

The Brooklyn rapper denied it, together with the rest of the Boy Records crew As they said that the track wasn’t aimed at 2Pac.

Unfortunately, the track ignited a rivalry so deadly that it cost the lives of both B.I.G and 2Pac.
