Lil Yachty on the first episode of his podcast made a surprising revelation.

The 25-year-old rapper who came to the limelight in 2015 with his singles “One Night” and “Minnesota” revealed that he isn’t a fan of Jamaican Artist Sean Paul. 

The rapper disclosed that the Jamaican colleague once dissed him on a live radio show and ever since he had held a grudge against him. 

Lil Yachty first revealed his intentions of starting his podcast early this month as he encouraged his fans to send in questions he can discuss on the show. 

“Safe Haven” the name of the podcast, aired its first episode titled ” The Art of Hate ” and talked about artists that dropped or rather went into oblivion.  

When his co-host MitchGoneMad mentioned Sean Paul,  the rapper was quick to point out that Sean Paul didn’t actually fall off .But instead,  he stopped releasing music. He further disclosed that he didn’t like the artist. In his words, he said “f**k Sean Paul”.

However, in the clip of Sean Paul dissing Yacht, the Jamaican artist said “You wouldn’t have some of these younger cats talking that.” When he was asked a question. Then when someone in the studio referred to Lil Yachty as one of the younger cats;Sean approves and further referred to him as a “boat boy”.

Recently, Lil Yachty has been the object of shade as NBA YoungBoy threw shades at the rapper in his song ” F**k the Industry*. In the song, he said  “Play with me, Lil Yachty mad about JT, f*ggot / B*tch, play with me, half of y’all ain’t got more money than me,” 

The rapper further took to Twitter to explain his reason for throwing shades at Lil Yachty.

He wrote, “If I ain’t mistaken, bro, you say you asked me about trying to talk to your b*tch. He added,  “And I was confused ’cause you a hoe and you were coming at me, like, I ain’t really do that. B*tch, I got a mental problem over here and I got too much money.”
