During a very recent episode of his podcast titled “A Safe Place Podcast”. Lil Yachty begged Nicki Minaj to unblock him.

He further discussed the long-standing issue of being blocked by Nicki Minaj on social media.

However, this was prompted by the internet sensation of Arrogant Tae’s admiration for Nicki Minaj.

Despite the ongoing block, Lil Yachty also took a step further to address that he is a genuine fan of Nicki Minaj. He also offered an apology, emphasizing that he didn’t intend to ever upset her.

Arrogant Tae, showing his support for Lil Yachty, expressed his willingness to text Nicki Minaj on his behalf. And he had high hopes to try and smoothing things over.

Furthermore, Lil Yachty did acknowledge Arrogant Tae’s act of kindness as he moved on to other various topics.

The tension between Lil Yachty and Nicki Minaj dates as far back to 2018. This was due to when Lil Yachty mentioned in an interview that he would work with Nicki Minaj.

But he still chose to remain loyal to Cardi B, who was also under Quality Control Music at the time.

This loyalty stemmed out from his close relationship with Cardi B. Their rivalry came to the forefront during the 2018 at the Met Gala when a reported altercation occurred.

Despite the history, Lil Yachty has repeatedly tried to make amends as he tries to build fences to cover up for his actions.

Expressing his deep admiration for Nicki Minaj, he even enlisted the help of his friend Drake in conveying his love and respect for her.

Nevertheless, as of the latest update, he however still remains blocked by Nicki Minaj on social media.
