The rising star of “Big Energy”, Latto generously donated $35K. And this proves that she has not forgotten her roots despite her fame.

On Friday (October 6). The 24-year-old rapper took some time to revisit Lovejoy High School in Hampton, Georgia.

During her visit, she made sure to give back to the school that played a significant role in her formative years.

In addition to this, she treated students to a feast from Wingstop. Latto generously donated $35K to support their homecoming.

There was also a photo of the oversized check made out to the school had “Big Latto” as the signature.

However, Latto’s philanthropic act in the world of Hip Hop comes as Diddy also demonstrated his commitment to making a positive impact.

Sometime in August, Diddy announced a substantial donation to a historically black college or university (HBCU) and the launch of a new fund.

Furthermore, Diddy contributed $1 million to establish the Earn Your Leisure Fund. This is a platform dedicated to teaching and making investments in financial literacy to Black men and women.

“This isn’t just about money; it’s about the convergence of vision, hustle, and a commitment to rewriting the rules. We’re not just opening doors; we’re building new doors, new rooms, new floors”. Stated Rashad Bilal of Earn Your Leisure regarding the partnership.

Diddy also upheld his promise to support HBCUs by donating $1 million to Jackson State University.

“It’s important that we all do our part to protect and preserve their legacy”.  Diddy expressed after presenting the check at the Cricket-sponsored MEAC/SWAC Challenge, which took place in Atlanta.

“This contribution to Jackson State isn’t just about making a financial donation; it’s about giving back to a part of our culture that has changed countless lives and ensuring that HBCUs receive the support they deserve”.
