He also shared why to bring in JDI on this first track of his new album. John Legend dope song is a new song which he has given much respect to JDI.

Fresh at the corner, John Legend’s Dope featuring JDI. Both have joined forces for this one and it’s here ahead of John’s forthcoming album.

While speaking with Eddie Francis on Apple Music 1, Legend talked about how gifted JDI is. He’s so gifted, so incredible, a good lyricist, and such great charisma and great energy and we were looking for the perfect artist to join me on this record as praised him.

Maybe John Legend never thought of how good JDI is until he sent him Dope to murder which murdered in different ways. He also noted that his next album will feature some artists. The album is a follow-up to his 2020 Bigger Love.
