On Tuesday (September 19), the Michigan native shared a series of Snapchat Stories documenting his attempt to surprise his girlfriend with a shopping spree. However, things took a hilarious turn as Halle Bailey stresses DDG as he struggled to keep up with her extravagant spending habits.

With each post, DDG’s tone shifted as Bailey eyed pricey items, including $500 teacups and $30,000 earrings. By the end, DDG was pondering whether he should “abort the mission,” realizing he had no way out once she started selecting her desired items.

In a final clip, DDG sported a defeated expression, writing…

Despite his recent decision to focus solely on his Hip-Hop career. DDG has embraced humor as part of his image. Just last week, he went viral after revealing that he was slapped awake. This was done by intruders, who entered his property solely to assault him.

In mid-September, DDG took to social media to address the incident involving two intruders who broke into his house while he was asleep, attacked him, and quickly fled the scene.

He expressed his frustration, saying…

“Whoever you are, I don’t know what type of sick game you think you’re playing. I don’t know if you think it’s cool to sneak into my house and put your hands on me as a joke. It’s not funny”.

DDG also shared CCTV footage of the incident, showing him waking up in surprise. He did this while attempting to comprehend the situation, grabbing a weapon, and inspecting his surroundings.

Notably, the intruders didn’t appear to steal anything, based on the camera footage. This indicates that their sole motive was to physically harm DDG.
