Gillie Da Kid in tears after Drake honored his late son. This happened in the “It’s All a Blur” tour in Philadelphia, hosted by Drizzy and 21 savage on Monday July 31th.
The podcast host Gillie Da Kid, was present at the event with his family. He had lost his 25 year old son, YNG Cheese who died on the night of July 20th in Philadelphia’s Olney neighborhood, days before the event.
The Toronto Canadian rapper “Drake” started off the event by saying a few kind words, and dedicating the night all in honor of Gillie Da Kid’s late son.
“Before we get started, one of our friends, our brothers in this shit, lost his son the other day. So I wanna dedicate this show tonight to Cheese. Y’all make some noise for Gillie and his son Cheese. Express some positivity”. Said Drake
To express his gratitude for Drake’s action, Gillie Da kid made a post on his instagram page, attached with a video of what Drake did at the event.
“@champagnepapi Me n And Family appreciate u From the bottom of Our hearts,” he wrote. “I watch u put a smile on my kids face at this ruff time [heart emoji] love u 4 that [100 emoji] but ur nut a$$ ain’t have to have me cryin like that in front of all them people u could of warned Me [crying and laughing emojis] #LLCheese”.

Two other men were shot as well. Their ages are 28 and 31 respectively, but they were able to be placed in a stable condition at the hospital.
