Once again, Beyoncé has created history by becoming the first person to have 100+ song placements on the Billboard Hot 100.

Billboard announced on Monday, April 8, that Beyoncé’s new album Cowboy Carter has debuted, adding 21 new songs to the list and propelling her total number of Hot 100 singles from 85 to 106. The two lead singles from the LP, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages,” are among the previously mentioned 85 because they were already included on the list before the publication of the whole package.

Since the Billboard Hot 100 was first established in 1958, Bey has become the 17th artist and only the third woman to receive this honour. With 232 songs, Taylor Swift is ahead of her, followed by Nicki Minaj with 148. Drake takes the lead ahead of everyone else with 329.

Beyoncé ranks No. 13 out of the 17 musicians who have accomplished the accomplishment with 106 chart placements. With 105 Hot 100 hits, her husband Jay-Z is only one place behind her, tied with Justin Bieber at No. 14.

Furthermore, in its first week of sales, Cowboy Carter sold 403,000 units, topping the Billboard 200. As of right now, the project is headed towards becoming the fastest album to sell half a million copies by 2024.

Regarding the other hits on the record, Beyoncé and Post Malone’s collaboration on “Levii’s Jeans” was a major driving force for Levi Strauss & Co.’s success.

The American clothes brand changed its Instagram name to match the song title shortly after the album was released last month. On April 4, their stock increased by 20%, according to CBS News.

Chief executive officer Michelle Gass stated, “I would just say that denim is having a moment and the Levi’s brand is having a powerful moment around the world.”
