Cardi B’s Side Story On Why She Threw Mic At Woman
Cardi B isn’t just a female rapper but is also good at taking action when something seems to go against her. Throwing Mic at one of her fans during a show is the least action that caught the attention of the Internet.
The last time we heard Cardi B throwing an object was during a fashion week and that was in 2018. In a video, Cardi was seen yelling at Nicki Minaj after throwing her shoe towards Nicki at the point of her physical brawl. That was a potential attack. Though looks like Cardi can’t stop throwing.
As for the case of her most recent throwing, she didn’t get it when a fan made her throw a mic at the female fan. Her action has been explained during a press interview following the release of her collaboration song Bongos with Megan Thee Stallion.
Luckily, Cardi B didn’t face any charges for throwing a mic at a fan who threw a cup of ice and water to her face. However, she gives her side story of her action despite not being charged. She was cleared by the Clark County District Attorney’s Office which said it did not have sufficient evidence to prosecute Cardi.
She explained about the incident during The Breakfast Club. While you watch the video, below is what said.
“It was really like a quick reaction,” Cardi responded after being asked about throwing the mic and joked that she didn’t want to address it because she thought she was going to jail.
“It was hot as f***… it was hotter than a mfer, there was a part of the show that I told people you know, splash me, but even when I told people to splash me, I was like be careful with the face, the face was beat. So f***ing four songs after, 15/20 minutes later, this b**ch throw water and ice on my face,” Cardi explained.
Cardi B believed that she automatically reacted and to her, she didn’t know she was with mic.
“I just automatically reacted. I didn’t even know that I was throwing the mic. I just threw the sh*t because b*tch you hit me right in my face and when I looked at the video, nah you intended to throw that sh*t in my face. And the way she threw it [throwing motion] and that sh*t had ice… you fucking throw some ice in your mfking face and you gon tell me how the f**k you feel. I feel very violated,” Cardi B said.
That was it. The fan who sued Cardi B for headbutting her with a mic didn’t get what she was looking for. No charges will be filed about this case,” Las Vegas Metropolitan Police told CNN.
“This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept., that as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi. On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter, Cardi’s lawyers, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, told TMZ.
