Pop smoke’s album breaks new record

Pop smoke has become the first hip-hop artist to debut no.1 on the billboard hot 200 posthumously. His album, shoot for the stars aim for the moon,opened the billboard top 200 album at #1 for this week.


Shoot for the stars aim for the moon moved 251,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in its first week, of which 59,000 are in album sales. He’s album was produced by 50 cent and 50 cent took Twitter to celebrate the album’s success. 
“BROOKLYN STAND UP #1 She Want To Fuck Wit The 💫Woo,” wrote 50.
Right after pop smoke’s album on the billboard top 200 is Hamilton’s “An American Musical”which rises from 14-2 with 102,000 equivalent album units following the theatrical release of Hamilton on Disney+.
Lil baby’s “my turn” takes the no.3 spot on the billboard top 200 with 62,000 equivalent album units, while DaBaby’s Blame It On Baby drops to No. 4 with 36,000 units.
