Drake Overtakes Madonna’s record for most US Top 10 hits
Drake is now the most who have the highest Top 10 hits currently on US chart history. This is his first accolade breaking since Madonna has been the one who gripped US chart over the past years.
You should know how this happen, his recent joint with DJ Khaled escalated his US chart ranks. Both Popstar at No 3 and Greece at No 8, bringing his total Top 10 hits to 40 and beating Madonna’s record of 38.
Drake is simply breaking relentlessly. The project Dark Lane Demo Tapes, also helped the Canadian rapper to secure this record ever. Tracks from the tape, all appeared in US chart just in March it all happened as the most hits in the US Hot 100, at 208.
Drake’s chart run began in 2009 when Best I Ever Had reached No 2. His 40 Top 10 hits include 15 tracks where he is a featured artist on songs by Rihanna, Future, Travis Scott and more.
Madonna’s run began with Lucky Star, which reached No 4 in 1983, and her most recent Top 10 hit was 2012’s Give Me All Your Luvin, featuring Nicki Minaj and MIA. Except for a No 84 placing for Bitch I’m Madonna in 2015, singles from her last two albums have failed to chart in the US, but the albums themselves have performed well – Rebel Heart reached No 2 in 2015 and the critically acclaimed Madame X topped the album chart in 2019.
