Due to Yukmouth‘s stage injury he recently faced a life-altering ordeal when he plunged through a stage hole during a performance, resulting in broken ribs and a punctured lung that silenced him temporarily.

In a candid interview on the Murder Master Music Show, Yukmouth shared the harrowing details of the incident that occurred in July.

He described how he cracked his ribs and punctured his lungs after falling onto a metal ladder and through the stage opening. The aftermath left him in a state where he couldn’t talk or breathe properly.

As the Bay Area rapper continues his recovery journey, he expressed gratitude for the progress he has made, emphasizing that ribs can take up to six to eight months to heal fully.

He stated…

“I’m still going through the healing process. Everything looks way better than when it happened. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t talk”.

Remarkably, Yukmouth’s stage injury had an unexpected silver lining. It led to the reconciliation of a longstanding feud with his collaborator Mistah F.A.B.

The rift had originated from a previous altercation at F.A.B.’s Dope Era clothing store, with Yukmouth later interviewing JT The Bigga Figga, stirring tensions.

However, following Yukmouth’s recent hospitalization and surgery, the two artists finally patched things up.

Yukmouth implored…

“Get over it, my n-gga! I don’t know what the f*ck happened, get over it! Please”.

He emphasized that they should focus on their careers and financial success instead of dwelling on past disputes. Mistah F.A.B. responded positively, showing that their friendship was more valuable than any disagreement.

Support poured in from fellow artists like KXNG Crooked, Pete Rock, Celly Cel, Napoleon, and Young Noble from Tha Outlawz, demonstrating the unity and camaraderie within the hip-hop community during Yukmouth’s recovery.

In the face of adversity, Yukmouth’s stage injury not only served as a catalyst for personal growth but also as a beacon of reconciliation within the rap world.
