XXXTENTACION’S Killer Gets Reduced Sentence After Testifying Against Co-Defendants
The news of XXXTENTACION’S death brought sadness to his fans and lovers of his music. However, suspects of his murder have been apprehended and are facing the consequence of their actions.
One of the suspects, 27-year-old Robert Allen has been rewarded with a reduced sentence as a result of testifying against his accomplices.
The suspect will serve a two-year Jail term after striking a deal as a key witness in the trial.
According to the Miami Herald,
On May 17th, the presiding Judge, Michael A. Usan sentenced the culprit to seven years with 20 years probation.
Allen says: “No sentencing is easy, and this one is hard,” He continues: “I genuinely believe you are sorry for what you have done and not sorry for yourself.”
The suspect was charged with second-degree murder and armed robbery which he pleaded guilty to. However, Allen agreed to turn his accomplices: Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome, in.
His co-defendants were given life sentences and no parole.
XXXTENTACION was murdered during a robbery in Deer field beach in 2018. His family members who were also present at the trial had a lot to say. Ellis Sandra, his aunt said:
“I say we are content as far as what the judge threw out for the sentencing,” She further stated: “We still have a long road ahead of us. It’s still a day-by-day process for us. Every day is just another day that he’s missing.”
