Although, 21 Savage did perform alongside Drake on the “it’s All a Blur Tour“. But, he did not participate in any Canadian tour dates.

Still, it remains unconfirmed if this was due to his immigration issues.

Savage’s immigration troubles dates back to February 2019. This was when he was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

At the time, ICE claimed that he initially entered the U.S. legally in July 2005. But subsequently, he failed to depart under the terms of his nonimmigrant visa. Thus becoming unlawfully present in the U.S. when his visa expired in July 2006.

Additionally, he faced allegations of felony drug charges dating back to October 2014 in Fulton County, Georgia.

The resolution of these immigration charges faced delays. It happened due to a criminal case connected to the initial ICE stop. Also, it involved controlled substance and weapons charges.

Meanwhile, authorities in DeKalb County, Georgia, confirmed that those charges have since been dropped. And it paved the way for the resolution of his immigration status.
