SZA accepted Drake’s offer after she had to cancel her Toronto concert due to illness, leaving fans disappointed.

However, Drake has stepped in with a generous offer to ease the disappointment.

Just hours before the show on Wednesday (October 4). SZA accepted Drake’s offer as she shared the unfortunate news on Instagram, showing her dedication to her fans.

She expressed her deep desire to provide a top-notch performance, saying in her words that…

“I only wanna give you guys 100 percent, and that’s what you deserve, and I won’t give you any less than that.”

Furthermore, she promised to reschedule the concert and apologized to her Toronto fans.

In a supportive gesture, Drake commented on her post, saying…

“We gon do that shit together when you come back lemme open for you [angel emoji].”

His offer to open for SZA on the rescheduled date shows his camaraderie and willingness. It also proves that he wants to make the concert special for her and everyone who would be present.

This act of solidarity comes after some fans misconstrued SZA’s recent interview comments as a diss towards Drake.

During the interview, she had referred to their past romance as “childish.”

Although, she did make it clear that they were both young and their relationship wasn’t serious.

While, Drake’s supportive comment on her concert post suggests that there are no hard feelings between them and that they’re on good terms.

Their brief dating history became a topic of discussion when Drake mentioned it in his verse on 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s “Mr. Right Now”.

It was later confirmed by SZA on Twitter that their relationship did happen. Emphasizing that she was over 18 at the time and there was nothing untoward about it.

Despite the past dating drama. The two artists recently released their first-ever song together, titled “Slime You Out”. And this marked a new chapter in their professional collaboration.
