Summer walker not allowed to the BET due to Covid 19 restrictions, announces new Album.
2019 was an amazing year as the Atlanta singer and songwriter, Summer walker blessed our hearts with her first studio album, Over it. Her album did well on the charts and the artist never ceased to bless us with amazing features during that era. Recently, summer walker scored her first RIAA award as her song “playing games was certified 3X platinum. The song sampled destiny child’s “Say my name” with is one of the track from her platinum selling album. The artist has got fans anticipating her next project since her 2020 EP, Life on Earth Which had exclusive features. This year, She has teamed up with several artist like Sam Smith, young Rog as she focus on her up coming project.
Following the BET awards show yesterday 21st Oct, the singer took Instagram announce her upcoming album and when it should be due, adding that she wasn’t allowed into the BET awards show because of the Covid 19 restrictions. Despite that, she expressed her love for BET and fans. “I was super excited to go to the BET Hip Hop Awards today but they wouldn’t let me in due to COVID restrictions,” She stated in the video. “I had such a pretty dress and everything, but it’s fine. BET love me, I still love BET. I was gonna talk about some stuff on the red carpet, so I decided to pull up anyway and I’ll let you guys know some things.
The singer also has revealed that her upcoming project will feature artist like lil Durk, SZA, Ari Lennox etc. Fans has been thrilled and excited as summer walker never misses when it comes to serving her angelic vocals. So many are very concerned about the Covid 19 and hope the restrictions doesn’t stop artist from revealing what they have for fans.
