Snoop Dogg’s Biopic Partnership with Universal Partners
Yes, it has been confirmed that Snoop Dogg’s Biopic is in partnership with one of the biggest American movie projections.
Uncle Snoop Dogg is will be providing more information about himself simply to assist writer Joe Robert Cole to handle his Biopic history as he partners with Universal Pictures. Joe Robert Cole is well known for his good work with Black Panther films. He co-wrote the two Black Panther films. Though the movie was directed by Allen Hughes, the filmmaker of Menace II Society.
According to Snoop Dogg’s statements which also appeared on Deadline, he noted that he has been on the work about this project. Snoop Dogg’s Biopic is something he wanted over the past years. But he waited simply to have the right partnership, a good director and writer.
As it stands now, it’s no longer a secret that Snoop has finally grip on one of his dreams. All who wanted to start this project are available. Why Snoop Dogg choose Universal Pictures because he thinks they are the best. They can understand the legacy that I’m trying to portray on screen, and the memory I’m trying to leave behind,” Snoop said in a statement.
Snoop Dogg’s Biopic project is well approved by Universal Pictures’s chairwoman whose real name is Donna Langley. Some of the things she has enjoyed are “Straight Outta Compton”. Of course, Outta Compton in 2005 is a universal movie.
Straight Outta Compton earned over $200 million worldwide and received an Oscar nomination for best original screenplay. It made the movie to become one the best movies produced through Universal Pictures.
In other words, Donna Langley developed a deep interest in Snoop Dogg after finding out about his iconic legacy. She also said that Universal Pictures was able to reach out to Snoop Dogg after he fully acquired the Death Row record label. Snoop Dogg and Universal Pictures are on the work right now. Mike Knobloch NBCUniversal’s president of music and publishing will be handling the project’s music and some vital sectors.
