Jay-Z and Offset Showcase Their Electric Slide Moves
The renowned rap superstars, Jay-Z and Offset proved that they can groove to more than just beats during Beyonce’s recent Los Angeles shows on her RenaissanceWorld Tour.
The dynamic duo delighted fans by hitting the Electric Slide, an iconic dance deeply ingrained in popular culture.
When Queen Bey belted out her 2019 rendition of Frankie Beverly and Maze’s 1981 hit song, “Before I Let Go”. Jay-Z and Offset stole the spotlight with their flawless execution of the Electric Slide.
Even Kris Jenner couldn’t resist joining in, attempting to keep up with the charismatic pair. This wasn’t Jay-Z’s first dancefloor display during his wife’s record-breaking world tour.
In a previous instance in July, he totally let loose, performing the Electric Slide alongside his mother, Gloria Carter, and other close friends while BeyoncĂ© sang “Before I Let Go.”
A vigilant fan captured the moment on camera, showcasing Jay-Z’s smooth moves as he held a glass of champagne.
However, when Jay-Z noticed the fan recording him, he gracefully halted the intrusion with a single raised finger, prompting an immediate end to the filming. This wasn’t the first time Jay-Z had to discreetly manage an enthusiastic fan.
During a Los Angeles Lakers game in 2020, a fan went too far by putting their arm around Jay’s shoulder, to which he swiftly responded to by brushing off the uninvited embrace.
However, in another incident the following year, a fan requested an autograph on a bootleg vinyl as Jay-Z exited his New York City office.
While he gladly signed albums from genuine fans, he refused to endorse the unauthorized vinyl, stating, “That one ain’t even real,” before walking away, leaving the disappointed fan behind.
In the world of music icons like Jay-Z and Offset, even their dance moves and autograph choices become the stuff of legends.
