Fans Excited as Q Tip Teases New Song Ahead of Album
Fans of A Tribe Called Quest veteran Q Tip have been waiting for a new album from him for more than ten years, but now there’s new optimism that the wait will soon end s he just released a new song.
The now 53-year-old Tip hinted to new songs on Thursday (April 11) while thanking fans for their birthday wishes on X (previously Twitter).
He wrote, “Love you guys and thanks for the well wishes.” “Music is on the way, pay attention.”
“When you say Music…do you mean all three?” a fan inquired. “3 but some title changes on 1 of em.” was his response. Not using an algorithm. Something fresh has emerged.
The phrase “all three” alludes to the three solo albums—AlGoRhythms, Riotdiaries, and The Last Zulu—that Q-Tip declared he was working on in 2020.
