Burna Davido Beef Traced Through 2018 Show
Nigeria music industry could be Mile closer to be compared with some other music community you probably see as major general. But love it or loath it Nigeria hip-hop has grown with potential impact and behind it there’re artists beating and dancing the drum sounds.
Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy might be the most outspoken artists in 2020 following those studio albums dropped as Made In Lagos, A Better Time, Twice As Tall with more studio body of work from other Nigerian artists.
Those three mentioned album caught several attentions reacting with better not better opinion across most minds.
Davido and Wizkid who have shared controversial feud in the past but have signed peace yet haven’t collab. But Burna and Wizkid are more of close-kit with GINGER, one of Made In Lagos songs.
However, Davido is literally trying to be safe from clashing with contemporaries and it looks like it’s rare for such to happen after lot of rivary heights surrounded the industry.
His relationship with Burna Boy is no longer funny. it’s passive-aggressive beef continued not from 2020 July till date but since both parties haven’t found reconciliation, then there’s chances of reigniting once again.
Burna Davido ducked it out lately December in Ghana club and the appeal behind the brawl has been traced from their past differences.
However, Burna Davido have shown their feud hasn’t been dismissed with prejudice after both are yet to reached an agreement. The beef began notably serious from last July 2020 when Burna Davido released different albums dropping same month.
Burna Boy first announced his Twice As Tall album on March 31, 2020 to drop on July while Davido later followed up with his own album announcement on 4, 2020 May, to be dropped same month. On May 22, 2020, Davido took to his Instagram stories to post that his album, ‘A Better Time’ would again drop in July.
So two great albums Twice As Tall and A Better Time are dropping same month ? Well it’s amazing to we fans but to Burna Boy, dropped a cryptic message, “July will be very funny, and I shall laugh accordingly.”
Looks like Davido is online same day when Burna Boy posted he’s going to laugh accordingly in July. But none of us understood why Burna planned to do such. The DMW singer then posted a photo of himself with Wizkid with this caption “The two greatest of all time, no cap.”
Burna Boy and Davido beef escalated after FEM singer shared a photo of himself with Wizkid labeled as The Two greatest of all time. It also traveled into studio were Burna Boy diss Davido on ‘Way Too Big’, ‘Real Life’ featuring Stormzy and ‘Nor Fit Vex’ while had responded with FEM
Burn moved on dissing Davido adding: “You cannot play football, everybody knows you cannot play football, and you are an embarrassment to the team, but your daddy bought the football team…” Burna Boy shared on his Instagram stories.
The beef was confusing at first; It was astonishing because, during Burna Boy’s show in December 2018, Davido and the rest of DMW family stormed the show and shut it down.
