Dababy got into serious issues after controversies over comments he made on stage against the LGBTQ community. The artist lost so much as he was dropped of off shows and got his credits removed from most songs and albums. Regardless of what happened, the artist issued an apology again on stage and Instagram.

Recently, stand up comedian Dave Chappelle took his lastest comedy special on Netflix to weigh Dababys comments. His comedy special, the closer which contained commentary directed at DaBaby’s homophobic rant at Rolling Loud Miami. It also included issues regarding the transgender community.

Chappelle said gender is fact and acknowledging that everyone came out of a woman’s leges. Gender is a fact,” he said in part. “Every human being in this room, every human being on earth, had to pass through the legs of a woman to be on earth. That is a fact.”

Some critics took his jokes to be malicious and some others, hilarious. ” As a trans woman, I have usually defended Dave Chappelle’s specials because I think they’re hilarious and his jokes about trans women never felt intentionally malicious.

“The Closer changed my mind on that. That special felt so lazy and disingenuous and I’m really disappointed.” the fan said.
