Cardi B Microphone Toss Case has been Dropped
The charges against Cardi B has been dropped. It was revealed that she won’t be facing any battery charges in her recent microphone toss case in Las Vegas.
This was confirmed on Thursday, the 3rd of August. The rapper’s attorneys, Richard Schonfeld drew Findling and David Chesnoff gave a statement to TMZ about the incident.
“This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department… That as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi.
On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter”.
The charges against Cardi B came, as a result of her performance in Las Vegas on Saturday 29th of July, where a fan threw a drink at her while she was performing ‘Bodak Yellow’.
This made Cardi B angry as she threw her microphone at the transgressor, although it remains a mistery if it hit the person who threw the drink on stage.
Cardi B said the words… “jealous ass bitch”. The suspected transgressor left the premisses with the help of guards. She was later handed the mic as she resumed her performance.
As stated by TMZ, the offender threw the drink after Cardi B had asked the audience to “splash her pussy with water”.
Other videos of the incident, revealed that Cardi asked her audience to throw water at her between songs. The temperature reports shows to have been reaching a degree of 40.5.
Asides that, The microphone faced a better fate. It’s up for sale, and the profits would go to the Wounded Warriors Project and Friendship Cicle Las Vagas.
