Weeknd Makes New Billboard Hot 100 Chart History.
The Weeknd has broken a new Billboard Hot 100 chart record and is positioning himself for another, so his domination in the commercial music space is just growing.
His cameo on Future and Metro Boomin‘s WE DON’T TRUST YOU on Monday, April 1, helped the song reach the ninth position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“Young Metro” thereafter became his 99th song to reach the top of the charts.
Soon after, Chart Dara announced, “@TheWeeknd has now earned a new top 10 hit on the Hot 100 each year since 2014.” “With 11 consecutive calendar years of active work, he has the longest active streak of any artist.”

As part of his After Hours ‘Till Dawn Tour, The Weeknd broke yet another record last year in London’s Wembley Stadium.
The Grammy Award winner “broke Wembley Stadium’s record for sales with their traditional concert set up with the stage at one end of the stadium with 87,000 tickets sold,” according to a mid-August announcement from Live Nation UK.
After XO co-founder Cash shared the accomplishment on his first Instagram Stories, the hitmaker of “Blinding Lights” reshared the news on his own.
A few months earlier, the Canadian superstar attracted 160,000 spectators over the course of two nights at London Stadium, shattering a previous attendance record.
