Drake made a very suprising and unexpected appearance at Lil Yachty’s Toronto show. He further took fans by surprising them during the Field Trip Tour at HISTORY on Tuesday night (October 3).

The 6 God, who was spotted in the balcony section, truly couldn’t resist jumping on the mic.

Addressing Lil Yachty, Drake said in his own words…

“Aye Boat, I know you’ve been going crazy tonight. First of all, I just wanna say, y’all make some noise for one of my best friends in the muthafuckin’ world. You’ve been going crazy tonight. I haven’t been home in four months, so you take yourself a little break. I’ma try some shit out.”

From the VIP section, Drake also proceeded to perform his collaboration “Meltdown” from Travis Scott’s UTOPIA, sending the hometown crowd into a frenzy.

This very surprising appearance now underscores the close friendship between Lil Yachty and the Canadian rapper Drake. It also shows how it affects their creative collaboration process.

However, despite their various similarities, Lil Yachty recently explained their differences in lifestyle and music approach.

He mentioned how Drake enjoys going out, hosting parties, and recording selectively, while Lil Yachty focuses on recording music every day.

Furthermore, Lil Yachty also teased Drake’s upcoming album, “For All the Dogs,” which is set to be realeased on Friday (October 6).

Also, he further hinted that the album features some of Drake’s best verses yet. And it has a very high-energy performance vibe.

Although Lil Yachty initially had concerns about how the songs would come together. After a previous discussion with Drake, the album’s concept slowly began to make more sense.

Drake’s surprise performance also made Lil Yachty’s Toronto show a very exciting and unforgettable experience for fans. It did this by showcasing their strong bond and shared passion for music.
