A leaker has been sued to court for sharing Kanye West’s unreleased music without permission.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, the Yeezy mogul has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court. This is due to an individual identified as “Does”, who has been disseminating his songs on social media.

The account in question, known as DaUnreleasedGod across various platforms, is allegedly responsible for posting studio footage of Kanye West and a collection of his unreleased tracks, including the one featuring Rihanna and Pusha T.

Kanye, a Chicago native, claims that he has suffered a substantial financial loss and damages directly attributable to the actions of these defendants. Moreover, he contends that these actions constitute the theft of a trade secret.

West’s musical compositions, characterized by their distinctive arrangements and unique elements, are considered trade secrets due to their economic value, secrecy, and the protective measures in place.

These unauthorized leaks began in May and has persisted into August. Now, Kanye West seeks a permanent injunction against those that are responsible for these leaks.

This lawsuit is the latest addition to a string of legal troubles for the Graduation artist. Recently, there have also been reports which indicates that he and his wife are under investigation for a controversial incident during a boat ride in Venice, Italy.

Photographs and videos surfaced showing Kanye West in a suggestive position, which has led the Venice police to consider taking action against the couple. The boat’s driver has also been identified and will be questioned about what he witnessed, while authorities are requesting photographers to provide images captured during the incident.

In the midst of these legal battles, Kanye West’s Unreleased Music remains a focal point of contention, highlighting the ongoing struggle to protect his creative work from unauthorized distribution.
