This week, Lil Tay’s death was announced, but this sad news is slowly turning into a mystery. So far her family has refused to make a comment and the police has not began investigating.

On Wednessday August 9, in a post shared on Social Media, it revealed the news about the sudden death of Claire Hope, also known as Lil Tay with reference to her Instagram page.

It also stated that her brother passed away as well.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing.

We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain. This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother’s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief.

Claire will forever remain in our hearts, her absence leaving an irreplaceable void that will be felt by all who knew and loved her”. The post revealed.

Although, a lot of questions has been asked to know and comfirm the truth about her death, but associates and family members choose to remain silent on the topic.

Christopher Hope, Lil Tay’s father told Business Insider that he “could not comment on the Instagram post”.

He also refused to answer further questions to confirm is his daughter was still alive”.

“Yeah, you have the right person, but I don’t have any comment right now. I’m not able to give you any comment right now. I’m sorry-I can’t”. He also said to New York Post.

Henry Tsang, Lil Tay’s former manager also couldn’t confirm whether she and her brother had died.

“I have been in communication with individuals who have an intimate understanding of the family’s situation.
